Double Granite Monument
Double Upright Monument
This monument which is traditionally erected on a double gravesite, upon the passing of the first person, has a wider base than the Single Upright Monument. This wider base supports the larger tablet, or "die", which will have the information for the first burial. When the second burial occurs, the information for the second burial is inscribed on the tablet at that time. The size can vary between 2 1/2 to 5 feet high, and the horizontal base is double the length of the Single Upright Monument.
